The Glendora Public Library is a drop off point for Shepherd’s Pantry and, from October 1 through October 31, 2012, will hold a (non-perishable) food and toiletry item drive. This appeal will help generate additional assistance as we continue to partner with Shepherd’s Pantry. Collection boxes are available on the main floor of the Library to conveniently leave items.
Items needed by Shepherd’s Pantry include canned goods such as vegetables, beans, tuna and fruit; jars and packaged food such as rice, potatoes, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and jelly; and non-food items such as diapers, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and toothpaste. A complete list of recommended food items is available on the Shepherd’s Pantry website at www.shepherdspantry.com. Please check the labels of food items to be sure they have not expired.
Thank you for your continued support of the Glendora Public Library and Shepherd’s Pantry.
The Glendora Public Library is located at 140 S. Glendora Avenue. For more information regarding donations, visit the library’s website or call us (626) 852-4891.
