The proposed project, known as the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension from Azusa to Montclair (illustrated below), is the next phase of the planned extension of the existing Metro Gold Line system. The project would extend the Metro Gold Line light rail 12.3 miles to the east and include six new stations in the cities of Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Claremont and Montclair.
