Construction Notice - Railroad Corridor

Attention residents, businesses, and organizations in the vicinity of Citrus Ave near the existing railroad corridor in Glendora, CA.

WHAT
Over the next several months, construction crews will be working within the railroad corridor performing various construstion activities as part of the 11.5-mile Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension light rail project. Work will consist of several activities such as grading and excavation, bridge construction, underground utilities installation and track work.

WHEN
Construction activites are scheduled to begin Monday, October 15, 2012 and will continue intermittently until approximately the end of June 2013. Work will be performed during the daytime work hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend work will be performed periodically when necessary.

WHERE
Crews will be working within the railroad corridor between Citrus Avenue and Barranca Avenue within the city of Glendora.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• Bridge construction activities will take place at Palm Ave and Citrus Ave.
• Construction equipment noise will be heard near active work zones.
• Watering equipment will be used to control dust.
• Note: periodic construction notices will be provided prior to additional work taking place such as street lane closures.
