SNOW DAY
Third Friday in February • 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Every February, Finkbiner Park will have snow! Snow Day features two sled runs, two snow play areas, snowman building, and snacks. Sleds will be provided for the runs, but kids should bring their own gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. The Kiwanis Club will be on-site selling refreshments. EGG HUNT
Saturday before Easter • 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

The City of Glendora and the Glendora Kiwanis Club sponsor this fantastic community event, which begins at 9 a.m. and includes balloon artists, storytelling, and face painting, as well as a terrific egg hunt! The egg hunt begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. This event is for children ages 10 and under. Children are separated into four different age groups. Parents are encouraged to enjoy the hunt from the sidelines. This event takes place at both Finkbiner and Gladstone Parks. Call (626) 914-2357 or (626) 914-8228 for more information.

SUMMER MOVIES IN THE PARK SERIES
Wednesday nights at dusk at the Finkbiner Park Bandshell • Summer 2013
Join us for a summer to remember! This year's Movies in the Park Series is gearing up to be the best yet, with a variety of movies you and your family will enjoy. This fun series is FREE and open to the community. We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Glendora for sponsoring this event. The Rotary Club will be on-site selling snacks and refreshments. SUMMER CONCERTS IN THE PARK SERIES
Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. at the Finkbiner Park Bandshell • The Glendora Kiwanis Club is generously co-sponsoring the 2013 Summer Series of Concerts in the Park. Performances are held in the Bandshell at Finkbiner Park in the Oak Grove area. Concerts are held at 6:00 p.m. every Sunday. HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
The Community Services Department sponsors an annual Halloween Carnival on October 31th at Finkbiner Park from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event provides children ages 12 and under with an unforgettable, fun, and entertaining experience in an environment that is a safe alternative to traditional door-to-door "trick or treating." SANTA PARTY
In December  Santa visits the Glendora Community Services Department and the Glendora Library at the Bidwell Forum located upstairs above the library. This event is co-sponsored by the Glendora Rotary Club and includes games, crafts, picture with Santa, and refreshments. For more information call (626) 914-2357.

HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING & SANTA VISIT
Celebrate the holidays with friends and family at the Community Services Department's Tree Lighting Celebration! This community-oriented event is held the third Friday in November at the downtown bus plaza on Glendora Ave., in conjunction with the downtown merchants' association's Holiday Stroll. Enjoy free live holiday music, lights, and the arrival of Santa Claus at the plaza. Children can also visit and have their picture taken with Santa.
