The Engineering Division is responsible for plan checking, permitting and inspection of public improvements and grading operations, design and administration of budgeted capital improvement projects, administration of various maintenance districts, traffic signal operations and traffic safety.

Best Management Practices
All Grading & Drainage Plans (earthwork greater than 50 cubic yards) shall be prepared by a Registered Engineer per the California Building Code, latest revision.
All Drainage Plans (earthwork less than 50 cubic yards) may be prepared by the applicant per DRAINAGE PLAN / S.W.P.P.P. Basic Format Requirements for non-Engineered Plan (applies to pool construction also).
Traffic Engineering Services
Traffic Engineering handles all traffic signal projects, traffic signal maintenance, plan checking of all traffic control plans, traffic concerns and complaints and the Traffic Safety Committee Meetings.

Inspection Services
All work in the public right-of-way requires a permit to be obtained by a properly licensed contractor. All work is to be done per the approved City of Glendora Standard Designs & Specifications.
