About the Transportation Division
Glendora’s Mini Bus offers curb-to-curb transportation services for senior citizens and permanently disabled persons of Glendora. The bus operates: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The cost is 50¢ each way.
The Glendora Mini Bus transfers riders to the Pomona Valley Transit at the Lone Hill Shopping Center, the MetroLink Station in Covina, and also to the Azusa Transit system at the Citrus College Center. The Mini Bus office opens at 8:00 a.m.
For reservations, call (626) 914-8233. Calls for reservations will be received beginning at 8:30 a.m. every morning. Phone calls are answered by voicemail from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.Please call at least 48 hours in advance or as soon as you schedule your next doctor's appointment.
Monthly Bus Passes
Bus passes are sold Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Community Services Department's Transportation Division, 410 East Dalton Avenue. Foothill Transit bus passes are sold throughout the month and are valid for a thirty-day period from the first day they are used. MTA and MTA/Foothill Transit Joint EZ passes are available for purchase the 25th of one month through the 10th of the following month and are valid for the month stated on the card. Verification of Glendora residency is required for the purchase of all MTA and MTA/Foothill Transit EZ passes. For further information, please call 914-8233.
Metrolink Shuttle Service
A shuttle service supported through the use of sales tax funds whose purpose it is to reduce traffic and air pollution in California is available for Glendora residents who commute by MetroLink. The cost is 50¢ each way. Shuttle services are provided Monday through Friday between the Transportation Center and the Covina MetroLink station Monday through Friday beginning at 5:18 a.m. and continuing through 7:14 a.m. For trains returning from Los Angeles, service begins at 4:56 p.m. until 6:40 p.m. Contact the Transportation Division at (626) 914-8233. Please be advised that a commuter must arrive early at the Transportation Center as the shuttle driver will leave at the scheduled time without deviation.
