Paws To Read at the Glendora Public Library

The library and the Friends Foundation are proud to sponsor the Children's Summer Reading Club. Through the generous donations of Glendora and the surrounding communities, we are able to provide all reading incentives FREE to the public. If you would also like to sponsor these and other library programs, ask a librarian or call (626) 852-4891.

Registration, at which your child will receive a free book and a summer reading log sheet, will begin June 2, but you can also sign up at any time during the program.

Report back to the library each week to receive a reading prize. All reporting will take place at the library or online. A prize is given out to children when they come in to report on the reading they have done (the goal is 20 minutes per day), or, for the young ones, the books their parents have read to them. Extra rewards for reading more!

The Summer Reading Club goal is to encourage children to read, and to encourage parents with young children to make reading and interacting with books a part of their daily lives.

During summer,  Storytimes continue at the usual times.
