City of Glendora March 3, 2015 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The City of Glendora conducts general municipal elections in March of odd-numbered years to elect members to serve on the City Council. There are five members of the Glendora City Council, each serving a four-year term of office. The terms of office alternate so that two members of the City Council are elected at one election, and three are elected at the next election.
Next Election: The City of Glendora will conduct an election on March 3, 2015 to elect three members to the Glendora City Council. For additional election information, please contact the City Clerk’s office at (626) 914-8210.
Registration Deadline: The last day to register to vote in the March 3, 2015 City of Glendora general municipal election is February 16, 2015.
Voter registration forms may be obtained from the Glendora City Clerk’s office or from the Office of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. For voter registration information, please contact Los Angeles County at http://www.lavote.net/.
To be a candidate for City Council, you must be registered to vote in the incorporated area of the City of Glendora at the time nomination papers are issued.
Nomination papers require that the candidate obtain not less than 20 nor more than 30 signatures from eligible registered Glendora voters who reside in the City.
Filing Period: The filing period to be a candidate for the March 3, 2015, election is from November 10, 2014 through December 5, 2014, 5:00 p.m.

Poll Hours: The polls for the March 3, 2015 City of Glendora General Municipal Election will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

What are the responsibilities of a Pollworker?
Pollworkers must be available between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to set up the polls, provide assistance to voters, and conduct poll-closing procedures.
The Vote-By-Mail application period for the March 3, 2015 election is from February 2 through February 24, 2015.
Applications to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot will be sent to each registered voter in City of Glendora with the Voter Information Pamphlet (sample ballot) during the month of February 2015. Applications may also be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office.
