The Glendora Economic Development Division provides workshops as one of several ways of supporting the development and growth of the business community.  The next scheduled workshop is as follows:

 Marketing Kicked Up a Notch

Come to this workshop and learn techniques that "kick it up a notch" and don't cost an arm and a leg.  Learn fro the man who taught Wendy's how to market hamburgers!  Here is what you will learn at the workshop:

  • How to market successfully utilizing ideas and energy - not money!
  • How to motivate the customer from a casual to a regular customer!
  • The fundamental structure of marketing that builds a sound foundation for a marketing plan!
  • How to cultivate the best customer for your business!
  • An interactive exercise that will help you build your own marketing plan!

 About the Presenter
SCORE Mentor, John Pietro

John has over 40 years of Marketing and Advertising experience.  He has been a corporate executive at Wendy's where he worked on the Where's the Beef" campaign.  Other clients were Denny's and Omnicom.  John has owned and operated an ad agency for 12 years working on brands like Coca Cola and Cinnabon.  He has been a mentor and coach to people for many years and has numerous success stories at SCORE.
